EQUITANA in Australia is the most anticipated annual equine event of its kind in the Southern Hemisphere attracting over 50,000 visitors per event. The next event will be held at the Melbourne Showgrounds from 15th to 18th November 2012.

EQUITANA is four days of everything equine featuring horses, Olympic gold medallists, world renowned educators, aussie cowboys, an elite equine competition program and over 300 exhibitors making up the largest equine shopping spree in Australia.

EXHIBITION - With hundreds of companies exhibiting at EQUITANA during the biggest 4 days on the equine calendar, the event really does deliver the ultimate “equine shopping paradise.”  This is an opportunity too good to be missed. There’s no other exhibition like it – with its never ending stream of new products and value shopping the exhibition has been enthralling visitors since 1999.  

EDUCATION - The Education Program incorporates a variety of exciting and highly informative demonstrations, presentations and clinics lead by both Australian and international presenters.
A range of large demonstration arenas, classrooms and a dedicated Horse Health Pavilion offer a non-stop, enlightening program over all four days of the event.

There is also the crowd favourite “The Way of The Horse” - Australian Horsemanship Challenge, which is an educational young horse “starting” contest.

COMPETITION – Boasting two elite competition arenas, EQUITANA is the host of the Equestrian Grand Final, an elite equestrian competition in Dressage, Jumping and Exhibition Eventing. Cutting, Reining and Campdrafting competition is feature in the EQUITANA Australia Open series of competitions. 

ENTERTAINMENT – Olympic Stars, International Presenters, Lights, Music and Action! A purpose built indoor arena with seating for over 5,000 people hosts nightly competition and entertainment over the 4 days - an elite program which has been specially created to draw crowds from around the country.
