COMPETITION
The competition program at EQUITANA Melbourne will certainly not dissapoint - hosting up to 15 different competition disciplines covering english & western disciplines including team sports will excite every horse lover.
The Grand Pavilion will once again be transformed into a purpose built indoor arena with a seating capacity for 5,000 spectators. This stadium plays the host to World Class competition such Dressage, Jumping, Reining and Cutting just to name a few.
The Outdoor Arena - located in the centre of the EQUITANA Precinct, with seating for 4,300 spectators, will host competitions such as Carriage Driving, Campdrafting and team sports.

Visitors to EQUITANA Melbourne 2012 will be able to enjoy the exciting new format for the EQUITANA Australian Open Championships, as the competition has been refined since its launch in 2010 and no longer includes the equestrian elements. The Australian Open is now honed to a fine point of action with Reining, Cutting and Barrel Racing taking centre stage. |
