RDAA develops ability & enriches lives through specialised programs & relationships with horses. RDAA is a voluntary, nonprofit organisation which provides opportunities for anyone with a disability to enjoy safe, healthy stimulating, therapeutic, horserelated activities in Australia. RDA Centres provide suitable horses, trained volunteer helpers, accredited RDA coaches, riding and safety equipment to run a range of equestrian activities including: • structured riding classes People with all types and levels of disability are accepted into RDA programs (including but not limited to): • Spina Bifida The first Riding for the Disabled (RDA) Centre opened in Brisbane in 1964. Riding for the Disabled Association Australia is now a registered charity and limited company. Operating successfully for over 40 years, RDA encourages active participation by its members, at all levels, regardless of their disability, at recreational and competitive equestrian events.
