It is a well known fact that Australians have dominated in Polocrosse during the last two World Cup competitions, and the 2011 World Cup looks to follow suit with two stellar teams being announced by the Polocrosse Association of Australia last Friday.
EQUITANA Melbourne is proud to inform the public that Suzette Thomas, one of the distinguished presenters in the All Star Showcase on the opening night of EQUITANA Melbourne 2010, has been made Captain of the illustrious World Cup team.
This prestigious two week event, which was last held in Warwick Queensland, is to take place from the 4th July to 18th July 2011 at Bishop Burton College in East Yorkshire, United Kingdom. There has been eight countries invited to take part in the World Cup, Ireland, South Africa, Zimbabwe, New Zealand, USA and Zambia, along with Australia and the host nation, the United Kingdom.
Along with the main competitions, an International Challenge Tournament will include invited teams from France, Holland, Germany, Canada, Norway, the United Arab Emirates, Ireland and the UK.

Suzette will be taking part in the All Star Showcase alongside the likes of Ian Francis (Reining), Steffen Peters (Dressage), Pete Comiskey (Campdrafting), Jay Charnock (Mounted Games) and Rob Hodgman (Cutting) and William Fox-Pitt (Eventing). With a resounding response from ticket sales, the All Star Showcase promises to be an amazing start to four days of EQUITANA Melbourne 2010.
