The Australasian Arabian Breeders' Cup sponsored by Mulawa Arabian Stud will showcase the beautiful and unique Purebred Arabian horse.
The oldest recorded breed of horse in history, Arabian blood is behind almost all of the current horse breeds in the world, including the Thoroughbred. Renowned not only for their high spirited alertness, and pride of carriage, but also their ability to form an affinity with humans, demonstrating a temperament that is kind-natured, quick to learn, and willing to please.
A panel of three highly qualified judges, including Mark Lilley (Australia), Joanna Kale (USA) and Michael Van den Elsken (EUR) have been selected to judge the immaculately presented horses.
A schedule of classes has been crafted to showcase the breed's best Stallions, Mares, Colts and Fillies as well as the great breed ambassadors - Purebred Arabian Geldings. The show will also include the crowd favourite Arabian Costume Exhibits. The horses will be encouraged to show their Arabian breed type with charisma and animation, and the ‘People's Choice’ voting will give the spectators the opportunity to choose their favourite to win.
The Arabian Horse Breeders Alliance of Australasia Inc. (AHBAA) is an organisation formulated with the promotion of the Purebred Arabian Horse as its core objective. Within this framework of promotion AHBAA aims to reach a broader community and help build interest in the Arabian Breed.
This is a fantastic opportunity to see the beauty and grace of the beguiling and proud Arabian horse in action!
