Fiber Fresh Speed Knock Out Championships: Australia’s top jumping riders will be racing a mirrored course designed by Gavin Chester, two at a time. The first across the line with the fewest faults will go through to the next round. The knock-out style format means that eventually the two fastest riders will face-off for the final and the winner will be crowned CHAMPION.
Before the Fiber Fresh Speed Knock Out Championships, Australia’s favourite miniature ponies It’s Crunchtime and Lippy will show the top jumpers how it’s done. Crunchy and Lippy, along with owner Hannah Pikkat, an EQUITANA Melbourne Ambassador, will take us through the slalom course. They’ll be showing one and all why they should be considered for the EQUITANA Australian Open Grand Prix Jumping start list with their skill of jumping the same jumps as the riders – albeit at slightly altered heights. These adorable show ponies will then steal the spotlight even more by performing a liberty display that will leave the crowd spellbound.
EQUITANA’s Got Talent will bring the newest equine star to the Aqualuma Grand Pavilion tonight. This is your chance to see the next Double Dan, David Manchon or Wilson Sister launch their career. EQUITANA has scoured the country to find the best performer and the winner of this talent search will feature in a professionally-produced segment guaranteed to launch them into the stratosphere of equine entertainment.
