Connections: The resilient and adaptable rider
What does it mean to be a physically resilient and adaptable rider? Why is it important?
Using a combination of Pilates, functional training, fascia focused training and Franklin Method Equestrian, Helen Fletcher will show us the techniques, layering of exercises and mindful approach that she uses with her riders to achieve this goal. When we understand the interconnectedness of the body, we can fully appreciate that bodywide dynamic stability and tensegrity, mobility, suppleness and strength, will allow improved performance and greater longevity for both horse and rider. Allowing us to ride better, longer.
