Jess runs Novella Park Equine, a full-time breaking and training service based in Balmattum, Victoria. She has transformed her passion for horses into a thriving business, starting from humble beginnings in the racing industry and developing effective techniques for training young horses. With years of experience, Jess has earned a strong reputation for her skill in helping horses learn and grow. She finds great joy in guiding horses through their training journeys and takes pride in the successes of her clients and their horses.
Jess’s career took off after taking home Australia’s Greatest Horsewomen Champion riding her gelding “This Cat Curls” in 2022.
In addition to training, Jess is actively involved in the working cow horse community, competing in cutting, campdrafting, and stockman’s challenges. Her participation in these events allows her to apply her training skills while connecting with other equine enthusiasts – her more recent involvement in the sales ring has also seen some horses make top prices at auction. At Novella Park Equine, Jess is dedicated to providing top-notch equine services, helping both horses and their owners achieve their goals.
