Mark Langley
Training
Mark uses his unique expertise to promote his passion about helping horses to learn through a way which reduces anxiety and increases their calm connection not only to their owner but also to the task they are doing. For over a decade, Mark has been addressing how horses feel; offering a different, fresh approach to horsemanship.
Recognising that much of the tension that horses carry has been caused by the way people train and present education to their horses, he helps people globally to understand themselves and their horses better so that they can provide a learning environment which promotes calmness, confidence, desire, focus, and searching. Mark’s expertise is at reading horses and knowing exactly what they need to help put them in the right frame of mind to learn. Addressing how horses feel; working with their mind then their body, Mark explains techniques that help a range of issues from separation anxiety, to aggression, shut down horses to high anxiety and adrenalin; proving that if we can understand and act on how our horses are feeling/where their thoughts are – if we can change our training techniques and how we present ourselves to our horses – our horses will try harder for us; and balance, connection, transitions, calmness, energy and attention span all improve.
