2022 EDUCATORS

Sandi Simons

Training

Sandi is a mother of 5, a businesswoman and an international horse presenter. Sandi has worked on many aspects of the horse industry here in Australia for many years and been involved with some of the biggest equine events throughout Australia.

Sandi has become a known presenter in Australia, New Zealand and the USA and has been involved with EQUITANA Asia Pacific since 1999. Including commentating, creative development, and managing The Way of the Horse competition.  A liaison for EQUITANA presenters, creator and organiser of the Waler Showcase (2013), select/manager/rider for Cavalcade Reins of Fire (2006); just to name a few.

Sandi was awarded the honour of Horsemanship ambassador at EQUITANA 2018 and was honoured to be inducted into the hall of fame, along with her two amazing equine partners Beau and Cassidy for years of outstanding service.  Sandi has a growing market in the USA and Canada including, presenter at Canada’s Mane Event where she was voted the best presenter of the Expo and the same at Equine Affair in Massachusetts in November 2016 and Ohio April 2017 USA.  Along with all this Sandi has made herself a household name for her work with women. Specialising in creating confidence for women, after not being able to find a training system that worked for herself, she sat down and developed a system to accommodate all women who lost their own confidence for one reason or another, either through having children, bad fall or simply having time out of the saddle.

Sandi offers all ladies that have lost their confidence the help, encouragement and support they need to ensure that their journey with their own riding can become easier, enjoyable and more fulfilling. No matter what discipline you are interested in, no matter what age you are or what level, it is never too late to get to where you want to be and do what you want to do with your riding and with your life with the right tools and the right plan you can move forward. Sandi has devised a unique programme brought about by her own battle with self-doubt and defeat and she understands the courage it takes to rise above that. It is her life’s passion to help others find that same courage. Sandi believes that everyone has the capacity within themselves to do more and go further than they ever thought possible. She helps women find the strength they hold within, to overcome their perceived limitations and return to empowerment, both with their horse and in their life. Her aim is for everyone she meets to become a stronger more empowered, with their horse, their relationships and themselves. The programme focuses on teaching you tools and skills to stay safe, move forward, recognise when things are getting off track and to know how to deal with those issues. There is nothing mysterious or difficult about this and these methods are easily achievable for everyone so that the safety and confidence you need to thoroughly enjoy time out with your horse can be attained. Live your dream, love your passion, come and see what its all about. After all ,YOU ARE WORTH IT!

Sandi also developed a traineeship program delivered over 2 years that provides the opportunity for women to train, in a manner that develops obedience, flexibility and balance for any discipline or age. Regardless of what discipline you ride, whether your nervous , a beginner, an experienced rider, or ‘of that certain age’ and getting back into horses. This traineeship program offers support for all the ladies out there that want to have fun while learning a more in-depth training system suited to encourage women to keep doing what they love. Sandi also offers a traineeship program for Liberty , a 12-month program designed to take you from basic liberty to advanced. This program will allow you to become not only emotionally connected to your horse, but you will have a whole new understanding of horse training. Liberty Training helps you to connect with your horse on a much deeper level, more emotionally and spiritually. Sandi also offers an online training school that is an affordable, innovative, education and easy to use.
